PETA needs to take it down a notch. They have nothing better to do than to lash out at celebrities. And just when we thought they were done with Sharon Stone, she's in trouble with them again. They're criticizing her for "mutilating" a spider, so they say.
Ernest Borgnine claims Sharon, who was his co-star in the 1981 horror film Deadly Blessing, insisted a tarantula have its pincers removed before she would shoot a scene with it. Cue the PETA peeps! They tell the New York Post, "She chose to make a tiny insect an amputee. Perhaps she should change her name legally to 'Heart of Stone.'"
We don't blame Sharon! It was probably a really scary spider! Sometimes PETA just needs something to talk about.
